Please read these Privacy Terms carefully before you start using the online store, the online store\u2019s features, or services. The Privacy Terms are an integral part of the Agreement between the Customer and Fairfood Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Fairfood) and the Terms of Sale.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

1. Collection and Processing of Personal Data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1.1.<\/strong>\u00a0Fairfood collects and processes the following personal data of the Customer:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.1.1.<\/strong>\u00a0Customer\u2019s first and last name;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.1.2.<\/strong>\u00a0Customer\u2019s email address;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.1.3.<\/strong>\u00a0Customer\u2019s phone number;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.1.4.<\/strong>\u00a0Customer\u2019s address;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.1.5.<\/strong>\u00a0Communication between the Customer and Fairfood;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1.1.6.<\/strong>\u00a0Customer\u2019s IP address;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Use of Cookies in the Online Store<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

2.1.<\/strong>\u00a0Fairfood uses cookies to optimize website traffic and analyze the Customers\u2019 usage of the website. If the Customer has not set their browser to refuse all or certain types of cookies, cookies will be issued as soon as the Customer visits the online store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.2.<\/strong>\u00a0Fairfood uses the following types of cookies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.2.1.\u00a0<\/strong>Google Analytics <\/em>cookies are used to analyze the Customer\u2019s behavior to improve the website. These cookies provide Fairfood with information about the number of website visitors, the pages they visit, and the duration of their visit. All information collected through cookies is aggregated with similar information from other customers and is therefore anonymous. Fairfood does not identify individual users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.2.2.<\/strong>\u00a0Session cookies are used to maintain the functionality of the website. This allows Fairfood to link the Customer\u2019s activities with the browser session, which begins and ends when the Customer opens and closes their browser window. The session cookie consists of temporary information and is deleted when the Customer leaves the browser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.3.<\/strong>\u00a0With the Customer\u2019s prior consent, Fairfood uses the following cookies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.3.1.<\/strong>\u00a0Facebook Pixel<\/em> cookies are used by Fairfood to target ads to the Customer and analyze the flow of ads, which leads to the Customer\u2019s web traffic being tracked by Facebook<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.4.<\/strong>\u00a0The Customer always has the option to control cookies through their browser settings. If the Customer prefers not to receive cookies, they can set their browser to refuse all cookies or send a warning when a cookie is issued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.\u00a0Purpose of Processing Personal Data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

3.1.<\/strong>\u00a0The personal data collected about the Customer is processed solely for the purpose of providing the Service, enabling the Service, and enabling the use of the online store, including the following purposes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.1.1.<\/strong>\u00a0fulfilling the order placed in the online store;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.1.2.<\/strong>\u00a0managing customer relationships and communication with the customer;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.1.3.<\/strong>\u00a0conducting and analyzing sales and customer base analytics;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.1.<\/strong>\u00a0Customer\u2019s personal data is processed only to the extent that it has become known to Fairfood through the online store purchase process, order preparation, and fulfillment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.2.<\/strong>\u00a0The collected personal data is stored and retained solely for the purposes specified in this document in section 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.<\/strong>\u00a0Retention and Protection of Personal Data<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

5.1.<\/strong>\u00a0All personal data collected about the Customer is stored on servers located in the countries of the European Union or the European Economic Area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.2.<\/strong>\u00a0Personal data related to the Customer that Fairfood uses to fulfill the Agreement and ensure the fulfillment of the Agreement is retained for up to 3 years from the time the respective personal data comes into Fairfood\u2019s possession. Accounting base documents are retained for 7 years in accordance with the accounting law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.3.<\/strong>\u00a0Access to the Customer\u2019s personal data is only granted to Fairfood\u2019s employees and members of governing bodies who have the right to use personal data only in connection with providing the Service and managing the online store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.4.<\/strong>\u00a0According to applicable laws, Fairfood may have additional obligations to retain certain personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.\u00a0Sharing of Personal Data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

6.1.<\/strong>\u00a0Fairfood does not disclose the Customer\u2019s personal data to third parties, except in the following cases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.1.1.<\/strong>\u00a0For the provision of the Service (delivery of the order placed in the online store), the necessary personal data is forwarded to Fairfood\u2019s contractual partners Omniva\/SmartPosti\/DPD\/Venipak\/FedEx\/Nordics Fulfillment and only the essential personal data is provided on the shipping label;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.1.2.<\/strong>\u00a0For the delivery of the order, the Customer\u2019s personal data is forwarded to Nordics Fulfillment Ltd \u2018s self-service environment to create a shipping label for product delivery to the Customer;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.1.3.<\/strong>\u00a0To process payments, the necessary personal data is forwarded to the authorized payment processor, Maksekeskus AS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6.1.4.<\/strong>\u00a0To ensure the fulfillment of the Agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.\u00a0Customer\u2019s Rights Related to Personal Data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

7.1.<\/strong>\u00a0The Customer has the right to access the personal data collected and processed about them and the right to request the correction of inaccurate personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.2.<\/strong>\u00a0If the processing of personal data is prohibited under applicable law, the Customer has the right to request the termination of personal data processing and the blocking or deletion of processed personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.3.<\/strong>\u00a0If the processing of personal data violates the Customer\u2019s rights, they have the right to contact the Data Protection Inspectorate or the court, unless otherwise provided by law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.4.<\/strong>\u00a0If the Customer\u2019s rights have been violated in the processing of personal data, the Customer has the right to claim compensation for the damage caused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
