Microalgae OMEGA-3

The human body needs very long OMEGA-3 fatty acids (DHA, EPA). It can also synthesise a certain amount of them, but this is very taxing: it needs enzymes, zinc, magnesium, etc. So: the main sources of DHA and EPA should come from food. Unfortunately, only the fattier fish provide them in a metabolically functioning form. Since fish DHA and EPA come from microalgae, it would be wise to consume OMEGA-3 from microalgae (guaranteed purity, more bio-resource efficient). Official science-based claims: DHA helps maintain normal brain function and normal vision. EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function.
